Teaching a Computer to Recognize Handwritten Digits
Thu Feb 28, 2019 8:49 am
After having completed a network from scratch, you may be thirsty to do more. In the post regarding how to make your NN, I put a link to the MNIST dataset, which will be the basis of this project.
Outline:
Work with MNIST data, which is a collection of handwritten digits between 0 and 9. Each image is 28 x 28 pixels
Train a neural network to classify each image as its corresponding digit
Test the network against your own handwritten digits
